We Heart Hayden

Why did I say that? Mmm, maybe because she risked her life to save the dolphins, and because she says she’ll do it again. Hehe! Hayden Panettiere explained,

“I’m a Leo. I’m feisty and opinionated, God knows.”

So yeah, she has no regrets for her dolphin activism despite a warrant of arrest for her demonstration activities in Japan. Sometimes I think, couldn’t Hayden Panetttiere just write a check or hold some kind of fundraiser to help out for beloved dolphins?? She says no and explains,

“I’m a hands-on kinda gal, not much of a sit-back-and-watch (person). I like to be involved in everything. I was the same way when I was in school. I enjoy adrenaline, I enjoy having an opinion and standing up for something that I believe in. Putting myself sometimes in the line of danger.”

Yeah, danger! No wonder she’s so at home in Heroes which is action-packed. As for her scary experience in Japan, Hayden Panettiere denies being scared about it and said, “No. No! It rocks my world (laughs).”

Her days of wearing ultra-tight black leather “villainy” outfits are over. These days, Hayden Panettiere is back shooting episodes of Heroes‘ third season as the goody-goody indestructible cheerleader. Of course, her scenes are action-packed as usual =) Heroes will return to the air with new episodes on September 22, and Hayden is quite excited about it. She says,

“It is the same action, high-energy, adventure and cliff-hangers that it was in the first season. A lot of the core characters are working together and crossing paths again so it’s so much fun for us to film. It’s incredible. It’s just coming out wonderfully and I think the audience will be very excited.”

Hayden Panettiere is also happy with the direction of her character, Claire Bennett. The 18-year old actress shares,

“We bounce back and forth a little bit from present to future, and my future character is very different from my present character. So it’s very cool to have the ability to stretch my wings a little bit.”

The day after Alan Panettiere was arrested on domestic abuse (he was immediately released on bail), he was seen walking the dogs with Lesley Vogel, the alleged abuse victim. Yup, that’s them above! Uhh, so what happened?? According to Hayden Panettiere’s parents, the matter has been “completely blown out of proportion.” The Panettieres have since appeared on TV in an effort to clear up what they call a huge mix-up. Alan and Lesley tells Extra,

“It was all a big misunderstanding. Nothing actually happened.”

The spat apparently started after Hayden’s dad accused his wife Lesley of “hanging” with someone and “disrespecting” him in a party. He then hitted her three times on the face. Against the advice of the paramedics on the scene, Lesley refused to go to the hospital for her injuries. The police did however take some pictures of her bruises. A spokesman for Hayden Panettiere’s parents also told Extra,

“They love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion.”

The Heroes couple usually prefer to enter a party or event separately. Thus, you never almost never see Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia together at the red carpet entrance. But, it’s a different story once they’re inside the party place. The two have been rumored to be very sweet with lots of public displays of affection when in an event not covered by photogs inside. Recently, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia were spied leaving the Whaleman Foundation party in Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant in LA. Of course, fans and paparazzi swarmed over them. It was also reported that Milo ran over a photog’s foot as he drove away. Yikes!! Enjoy their photos!

Gahh! All is not well in one of the Heroes real-life household.. A few days ago, it was reported that Hayden Panettiere’s father, Alan, was arrested early morning at the family’s West Hollywood home for felony domestic violence. Sgt. Scott Wolf of the West Hollywood sheriffs confirmed to PEOPLE:

“There was a domestic argument between the mother and father. He got upset and struck the mother in the face one or two times on the left cheek which caused some bruising. From what I’m told, he hit her with a closed fist. The mother called police shortly before 3 a.m., and Mr. Panettiere was taken into custody. He’s been cooperative.”

So why did Hayden’s dad hit her mom Lesley? Sgt. Wolf revealed, “Earlier, they were at a party and the husband apparently felt disrespected by his wife.” Ooohh.. Juicy! Also, Alan Panettiere was arrested on the felony charge instead of a misdemeanor because “there were visible signs of injury” on 52-year-old Lesley Vogel’s face. Another sheriff’s spokesman, Steve Whitmore, told PEOPLE, “I can confirm that alcohol was involved in the incident.” Hayden Panettiere’s father has since been released on a $US50,000 ($A57,000) bail. The actress’ rep says:

“This is a private matter. We have no comment.”

Hayden Panettiere has long hinted that “something” will deeply affect her Heroes character, Claire Bennett, and that it will change her future forever. Here’s what the 18-year old actress recently revealed:

“Something happens to [Claire] that’s actually quite frightening to her, and it plays a big part in who she becomes in the future and what happens to her. I wish I could babble about it now because I have a lot to say about it, but I can’t. But it’s something, yes, that manifests further about her ability that weighs heavily on her emotionally, and mentally, as a person. And I think it would [weigh on] anyone who would be going through a situation like that…I think Claire plays a very important role in what happens, and in that way she can be worse than all of them.”

Hayden Panettiere also said of her character’s fate: “Future Claire’s very different, and it’s a very different world. It’s kind of, as you can imagine, a world gone a little bit awry. She’s a very different person.” YIKES!!!

Hayden Panettiere, Milo’s girlfriend and Janssen’s older sister, hosted the said charity event recently. And as expected, the two closest to our fave Heroes babe supported her all the way. Milo Ventimiglia and Janssen Panettiere was also also spotted in the red carpet of the Whaleman Foundation Benefit held recently in Beso restaurant. Enjoy their photos! ^_^

Wearing a cute short black dress, Hayden Panettiere rocked the mic at the Nextflix Live! hosted event last August 9. She performed with The Band from TV, composed of James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Greg Grunberg (Hayden’s Heroes castmate and friend), Jesse Spencer (House M.D.) and Bob Guiney (The Bachelor and TLC’s Date My House).

That’s the buzz these days! According to the geeks who caught the one hour preview of the Heroes 3 premiere, the sinister Sylar (Zachary Quinto) will trap Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere) in her house and steal her ability to heal. Our fave Heroes babe, who made the rounds at the NBC party during the press tour, said she’s thrilled with the way season three is developing so far despite her power being stolen. Hayden said,

“We’re getting back to more action and adventure and those wonderful cliffhangers … She’s [Claire] starting to spread her wings and fighting to break away [from her domineering father] and she’s starting to succeed at that.”

And don’t forget, we’ll also see a future Claire “who is bad and mean” according to Hayden! ^_^ And if you haven’t caught NBC’s Heroes teaser featuring HRG (Jack Coleman) talking to Claire, go to YouTube now! In the said teaser, HRG said:

“This was before you were even born, I was finding these people and locking them away so that they couldn’t hurt anybody. Now a dozen of them have escaped, and they will kill… and they will terrorize… and they will cause… unimaginable destruction to the world…they’re villains, Claire.”

SCARY!!! And sounds very ominous.. Brrr!
