We Heart Hayden

The internet is rife with the news that our favorite Heroes actress is set to release her first music album. The big question: what will Hayden Panettiere sing?? Pop songs? Rap or perhaps R&B? What about love songs? She’s in love these days to sing romantic interludes will be perfect for her =) Anyway, Hayden Panettiere told PEOPLE recently that her musical influences are

“Like pop, rock – maybe more of an R&B thing.”

The 18-year-old actress-activist (and now singer) adds,

“I have such eclectic tastes in music. I love rock, hip-hop, I like pop. I love Natasha Bedingfield and [singer-songwriter] Anna Nalick.”

Hayden Panettiere’s debut CD will hit stores this spring via Hollywood Records. And if you haven’t heard her sing yet, check out her MySpace page – it features a sampling of Hayden’s already-released pop-rock tunes, including “Try”, “Your New Girlfriend” and “I Still Believe” =)

Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere kick-started her Candie’s spring 2008 multimedia advertising and marketing campaign for Kohl’s Department Stores last February 21. Hayden attended the launch party at the Hyde Lounge along with her mother and kid brother. Check her out! =)

Woohoo!!! According to reports, the “Heroes” star is putting out a debut album later this year on Hollywood Records. Hayden Panettiere, who spent some of her downtime during the writers’ strike recording on her debut album, said she started working on it when she was still 15 years old. Yikes! That’s three years ago! Hayden shares,

“I’ve grown up a lot since I started..”

You can also catch the 18-year old actress later this year in the upcoming film “Fireflies in the Garden”. Hayden Panettiere plays a younger version of Emily Watson’s character, and she co-stars with Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds. She reveals,

“My mom always says you don’t know you’ve done a film until you’re sitting in the movie theater watching it, so I get a little nervous saying anything!”

Iconix Brand Group announced today that Hayden Panettiere will star in the Candie’s spring 2008 multi-media advertising and marketing campaign for Kohl’s Department Stores. Our favorite “Heroes” actress is following in the high-heeled slides of past Candie’s girls such like Fergie, Hilary Duff and Destiny’s Child. Hayden Panettiere shared,

“I am excited to be working with Candie’s. Their campaigns are fun and playful and always feature the hottest stars. I am honored to be the new Candie’s ‘girl’ and I look forward to working with them on lots of exciting projects.”

We’re excited too Hayden!!! =) The print ads have a classic Candie’s flair — sweet yet sexy and embody a bit of fantasy. The campaign was shot at Serendipity 3 in New York City by photographer, Giuliano Bekor. Hayden Panettiere will make personal appearances on behalf of the brand as well as attend a launch party in Hollywood later this month. Candie’s is sold exclusively at Kohl’s Department Stores and their online store. Go buy and make yourself happy gurls! =)

Hayden Panettiere’s beloved Milo Ventimiglia is featured in a yummy fashion spread in GQ’s new issue. And he spilled the beans (a bit) about his relationship with fellow “Heroes” star Hayden! Woohoo! =) Read on Milo’s GQ interview below:

GQ: HALO. That’s what the blogs are calling you and Hayden. Does the nickname bug you?
Milo:You know what, man—it makes me smile.

GQ: If you two are dating, why not just say so? I read you bought the girl a ring from Tiffany’s!
Milo: When you’re in the public eye, you try to keep whatever you can private. People can speculate and talk. But what can you do—stop living your life?

GQ: Hayden was GQ’s Obsession of the Year. Did you like those photos?
Milo: Yes, I did. They were very nice.

Only nice?? Hayden looked great in that photoshoot! So sexy!

So, “HaLo” are still together! And to dispel any breakup rumors, the Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia showed up in public together last February 16 (there was a party for their Heroes show). And boy, do they look amazing! Hayden was dressed up in a red-hot silk taffeta strapless gown with a sweet updo. Milo, meanwhile, looked the dashing in a midnight blue Tom Ford tuxedo! And he was quite the gentleman, opening the car door for Hayden and looking at her as if she’s the only woman in the world.. Lucky girl!

That’s the GOOD news! NY Times wrote:

An end to Hollywood’s long and bitter writers’ strike appears all but assured, as the governing boards of the unions representing 12,000 movie and television writers unanimously approved a tentative three-year deal with production companies. The strike remains in effect until the unions’ membership votes on Tuesday whether to end the walkout before formal ratification, guild officials said. The union went on strike on Nov. 5, 2007, after three months of acrimonious negotiations. It was the first industrywide strike since writers walked out in 1988. That strike lasted five months and cost the entertainment industry an estimated $500 million.

Now, the BAD news! Hayden Panettiere’s “Heroes” show won’t still be back for its new season this spring!!! Wahhh!!! According to reports, the soonest we see Hayden don her cheerleading uniform will be on fall. That’s literally MONTHS away! The only popular show going back this spring is “CSI” and all its spin-offs. “24″ is said to air on January 2009! Next year?? *shakes head* In contrast to that, the months waiting for “Heroes” to come back is more bearable. LOL! We can’t wait to see you Hayden!!! =)

Tongues are wagging about the true state of Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia’s relationship after a non-romantic Valentines Day for the whale-saving actress. A few weeks ago, they quietly came out into the open about their romance, holding hands and all. Then suddenly, all was quiet with Hayden and Milo (aka HaLo, LOL!). Rumors say that the “Heroes” actress’ mom was against Milo, and almost everybody were like “What were they thinking??” because of their 12-year age gap. Then on V-day, there was no romantic Hayden-Milo date. She was with her family having dinner at STK while Milo is nowhere to be found.
