We Heart Hayden

A few weeks back, the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles actor (yes, the one in the picture inset above) reportedly told Life & Style magazine he thought the relationship between his former Heroes costar Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia was “gross” because of the age difference. Now, Thomas Dekker explains his side and denies being grossed out by LiLo’s relationship.

Apparently, at a recent Fox party, Thomas came face to face with a Life & Style reporter and erupted into this tirade:

“Wait a minute! Aren’t you guys the ones who reported that comment about Hayden?!…I’m gonna kill that guy! I said it was gross, but then I said I was just kidding!“

LOL! As usual, tabloid reporters made a huge deal about nothing. Below is Thomas Dekker’s full statement in setting the record straight. Atta boy! I hope Hayden and Milo didn’t bug you too much about it, LOL!

“On the Internet, it says I’m disgusted by [Hayden and Milo's relationship]. I would have to actually care to be disgusted by it. I’m not disgusted. And, you know, if the relationship is making them happy, then of course it’s not gross. I’m just saying that I could never date someone with that big of an age [difference]. I just don’t see myself having anything in common with a person whose age is that [far from mine], but that’s just me.”

In the April 2008 issue of Cosmopolitan mag, Hayden Panettiere said she does not worry about Hollywood’s standards of beauty when it goes to her figure. Sure, the Heroes babe looks good to us, but to Hollywood, her body could use a bit more of “thin-ness”. Hayden admitted,

“I don’t have a model’s body. But I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m okay with what I have. I can rock this body, you know?”

Yup, you can definitely rock it Hayden! Hehe! =) But she reveals there is one area of her life in which the pressures of being an actress can be tough: love relationships. Though Hayden didn’t talk about Milo Ventimiglia, she might as well be talking about him. She shared,

“I need somebody who is very secure. In this business, I’m constantly standing next to gorgeous people. My job is to make out with [attractive] men. Like, hello, who wouldn’t be completely threatened by that? But at the end of the day, you have to realize that it’s just a job.”

Woohoo! Another magazine cover for our fave Heroes actress! =) This time, Hayden Panettiere went a lil sexy on the April 2008 cover of Cosmopolitan mag. As usual, Hayden dished out bits of her personal life inside the mag. So, if I were you, I’d grab a copy of Cosmo now! =)

Inside, Hayden Panettiere tells Cosmo mag that she won’t be going the route of party girls like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. She shares,

“I think that people look at me as just another one of those girls who’s going to screw up, like, ‘She’s going to get into drugs, and she’s going to get into the parties.’”

Hayden further revealed she’s just an ordinary girl when it comes to going out and having fun. She says,

“I have the occasional glass of champagne when I’m celebrating something, but generally, I don’t drink. I’m a pizza-and-a-movie girl.”

Last Tuesday (March 4), Hayden Panettiere was spotted arriving at LAX in preparation to board her flight. The “Heroes” actress was dressed comfortably in brown fleece pants, a grey t-shirt and a blue zip-up hoodie. Comfy! =) Hayden is, as usual, with her mom Lesley.

Aside from talking about her split with Stephen Coletti and Hilary Duff as her BFF, Hayden Panettiere also dished out to Seventeen magazine about being girly and fighting whalers =) Read on!

On wanting to be girly and just have fun:
“If I was a wonderful person, I’d run around in whatever clothes and have one outfit – and then I’d donate the rest of the money to charity. But no one is perfect, and no one is saying you have to give up everything in your life to change the world.”

On what it was like fighting whalers in Japan:
“It was great! There’s very little that scares me. I’ve always been a physical person. And I feel like a lot of time in this industry, a lot of people loan their face to a cause, which is great, but it doesn’t do as much as getting out there and actually physically doing something.”

The 18-year-old “Heroes” babe was seen house hunting in Beverly Hills, California recently with her momager Lesley. A witness reported,

“Hayden and her mother looked at several condos, mostly in the Beverly Hills area. Hayden really wants her own place.”

What?? Hehe! Let Hayden Panettiere, the official spokeswoman for voting campaign Declare Yourself, explain it for you:

“Declare Yourself speaks to young people. I’ve said to them, ask your candidates about problems, whether it be environmental or Lance with cancer or war. Ask them what their views are on it. Then let that weigh in on their decision.”

When asked by reporters if given the choice between Democrat Barack Obama or Republican John McCain, Hayden Panettiere said she would definitely choose Obama. However, the 18-year old actress still appeared undecided between Obama and rival Hillary Clinton as the Democratic presidential candidate. This little political tete a tete happened before Hayden Panettiere was interviewed by Larry King. For sure, Obama handlers will seek her “services” now! Hehe!

Hayden Panettiere joins superstar cyclist Lance Armstrong, musician Wyclef Jean, actress Rosario Dawson and singer Josh Groban to promote the importance of voting on Monday’s Larry King Live. Hayden Panettiere shared,

“I’m a newbie voter. It felt very empowering… very empowering to have a voice and declare yourself.”

In the April issue of Seventeen magazine, Hayden Panettiere spared no details in explaining her attraction to men in general, but obviously Milo Ventimiglia was probably on her mind when she described what she looks for in a guy =) Too sweet! Hehe!

On what Hayden Panettiere looks for in a guy –

I have to be with someone who’s driven. When they’re not, it becomes difficult. In a lot of relationships, you get in and you spend every waking moment with that person. But I’ve figured out that the healthiest relationship is where you each have your own life, but they meet in a nice point in the middle.

On the downside of being outspoken –

Even when I read articles about me — how you read my words is not always the way I said them. But I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. I’m not that kind of person. It hurts my feelings when I feel disliked by people — I’m not a generally dislikable person, you know? I think I’m a pretty decent, nice person.

On her BFF (surprise!!!) –

Hilary [Duff] is one of the closer people to me in the business. She’s a very down-to-earth person. She’s humble, very sweet — she’s low-key.
