We Heart Hayden

Finally, it’s the finals of the Rear Projection division of HDTV Hottie Hysteria (TVPredictions.com’s first annual elimination tournament to determine the hottest female star in high-def) — and it’s Jessica Biel (second seed in the Rear Projection division) against eighth seed Hayden Panettiere! Jessica defeated Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron to get to the finals while Hayden upset top-seed Nicole Kidman and fourth-seed Evangeline Lilly to advance. Yup, the Heroes babe has come a long way guys so I hope you’ll continue to vote for her!

The winner of the Biel-Panettiere matchup will play the winner of the Jessica Alba-Halle Berry contest in the Final Four. So far, Jessica got 69% of the votes while Hayden just got 30%. Yeah, the Heroes cheerleader may be young but she’s become a mentor to Masi Oka, her much older co-star in Heroes. The Japanese-born actor became the breakout star in the debut season of Heroes, and it took awhile before he got used to instant stardom. In an interview, Masi Oka was thankful for having Hayden Panettiere and other co-stars around, and shared how he handled all the media attention. He says,

“I am very grateful. This opportunity is like winning a once-in-a-life-time lottery. As much as I love meeting new people, I also need to be surrounded by friends who keep me grounded. Fortunately I have fantastic cast members. They’re like the brothers and sisters I never had. People like Milo Ventimiglia, Greg [Grunberg], Adrian [Pasdar], Ali [Larter] and Hayden Panettiere are my mentors.”

Guess the Heroes cast are one big happy family! =)

Tween queens Miley Cyrus and Hayden Panettiere recently talked with Mario Lopez, the host of the new reality competition Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew. Wow, I never thought that the Heroes hottie is also famous across the sea. But DANCING ON ICE hot favourite Chris Fountain (so handsome and hunky!!!) proved that Hayden Panettiere is also known abroad. He has said in an interview that she is his type of girl! Uh-oh, red alert to Milo! Hehe! Chris was asked about his status and said he was single. Of course, as a follow-up, he was asked what is it that he looks for in a girl. Chris replied,

“I don’t really have a type, looks-wise. I don’t see the point of sticking to one type when there are loads of different, lovely women. I just need someone who can make me laugh. Someone who can just sit on the sofa and take the mickey out of me and talk rubbish with me all night … I like girls who give out a cute and feminine vibe, like Hayden Panettiere from Heroes, but not out-and-out sexy.”

But he came without girlfriend Hayden Panettiere! Tsk.. Last week, Milo Ventimiglia thumped his new film at the Wizard Comic Book Convention in Los Angeles. Pathology opens in limited release on April 18. After the photo is a brief synopsis of Milo’s movie. Go read! =) I wonder if Hayden Panettiere will show up with Milo during the movie’s premiere.. Hmmm..

A group of medical residents studying pathology devise a deadly game: to see which one of them can commit the perfect murder. As Ted becomes seduced into their wild extracurricular activities the danger becomes real and he must stay one step ahead of the game before he is the next victim.

After defeating the venerable Nicole Kidman, the Heroes hottie continued her lucky streak in the HDTV Hottie Hysteria tournament conducted by TVPredictions.com =) Hayden Panettiere has now beaten Lost’s Evangeline Lilly in the second round of HDTV ‘Hottie Hysteria’. And I must say Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter are so d@mn lucky! Hehe! In a recent interview, the whale-loving actress revealed that everyone has a crush on her male Heroes co-stars. The best thing? They are all good actors too! Hayden shares,

“Everyone has a crush on either Milo or Sendhil, but then I look at Greg and Adrian and Masi, and I see that everyone has crushes on them, too. We have a cast full of heartthrobs, what can I say? It’s not only a large cast, but it’s a large cast of really good actors. When you’re around such good actors, you want to bring yourself up to their level and strive to do your best.”

Hayden Panettiere further shares,

“At the same time, in this show, we don’t always get the chance to work with each other, so it’s almost like showing off every time you get to work with [any cast-mate]. You’re so excited, because it’s like, ‘Ooh, I’ve got to be really good, because I’m working with so-and-so today.’”

And that’s according to Hayden Panettiere, hehe! When asked about her Heroes co-stars, the 18-year old whale-loving actress described each of them. And well, she says Milo is a flirt! No wonder they eventually hooked up. Hehe! Hayden explains,

“Adrian [Pasdar], we’ve always said, is like the big brother. He always wants to take you here, take you there – he’s the leader when [cast-members are on tour together]. Greg [Grunberg] is a goofball, Milo [Ventimiglia] is more of a flirt, Sendhil [Ramamurthy] and Masi [Oka] are great.”

Hayden Panettiere further shared her views on her cast mates. She says,

“Ali [Larter] and I are girls, we stick together. Jack Coleman I’m very close to. I get to work with him a lot, and he’s so much fun. He’s so funny and he’s such a bright man. It’s fun to be around somebody like that who is bright, but funny at the same time. Zach [Quinto], who plays Sylar, is funny as anything, and he’s a good friend, too. And Ashley Crow, who plays my mom – they all have their own personalities, and it’s a hoot when we get together.”

Another day, another magazine cover for Hayden Panettiere! =) In the latest issue of the official Heroes magazine, Hayden leads the pack of the issue’s unmissable interviews with the Heroes cast. The Heroes babe shared her thoughts on being the indestructible cheerleader Claire Bennet:

“I think I’ve sometimes been typecast because I’m blonde. You don’t get to play villains if you’re blonde. People look at me as very sweet sometimes, and I would never in a million years describe myself as sweet, never! It’s more fun to be bad – at least on the screen.”

Yeah, we believe you Hayden — you’re not sweet! LOL!

Heroes, whose last new episode aired in December, will be on hiatus until the fall season. Unlike other disrupted TV shows, it won’t be airing back soon. But that doesn’t mean episodes aren’t already in the works. Hayden Panettiere revealed to Extra,

“We go back to filming in April.”

Woohoo! The bad news is she won’t be filming with them that time as she will be locked up shooting her new movie, “I Love You, Beth Cooper”. Hayden shared,

“I’m filming in Vancouver so I’ll be joining them in May.”

So long as you’ll go back to Heroes gurl! Hehe! =) And during the three-month long writers’ strike, our fave Heroes actress kept busy recording her upcoming music album. Yup, Hayden is a lil busybody! She revealed,

“The thing about the album that I wanted the most was making sure that every song didn’t sound the same.”
