We Heart Hayden

As we previously posted HERE, our fave Heroes babe did gave her all-out support to The Band from TV on the recent Netflix Live! held at the Autry National Center in Los Angeles last August 9. Hayden Panettiere introduced the group and joined them later for some singing sessions. Enjoy her photos as she arrived on the event’s red carpet below. That’s what creator Tim Kring and the bigwigs at NBC have promise their audience when the much-anticipated show returns with a two-hour opener on September 22. NBC entertainment chief Ben Silverman told reporters at the recent TV critics press tour,

“You look at shows like The Sopranos, which took a huge amount of time off before it returned stronger than ever. We think Heroes has an audience that loves it and is going to return. But we think we have an opportunity to expand that audience, too.”

Heroes 3 started their promotion with a big bang with promotional appearances by the Heroes cast at the said press tour and the Comic-Con fan convention in San Diego. Geeks who saw the one hour peek preview of the primer said the third season picks up with a “future” Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) returning to modern times to prevent his brother, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), from exposing their secret powers to the world. Meanwhile, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) develops a special serum to bestow superpowers on regular people and then injects himself with it. Sounds all exciting eh?? ^_^ Heroes 3 will premiere on September 22 in the USA and UK. Don’t miss it guys!

1. Her unusual last name means “baker” in Italian! Yup, Panettiere = baker ^_^

2. Hayden is very close to her younger brother Jansen, an actor five years her junior. She describes him as “the greatest present our dad and mom ever gave me”. Aww, too sweet for words!

3. The actress’ friends call her Hay-Hay, Hayd or Mushroom.

4. Hayden Panettiere was a bald baby til she was a toddler! o_O She recalls: “I was completely bald until I was three. My mother had to tie bows around my head so that I wouldn’t scare other children.” LOL!

5. The Heroes babe finished her first year of high school in South Africa! Cool huh?? Hayden was there to film the 2005 movie Racing Stripes (where she learned how to ride a zebra!). After filming she chose to stay in the country for awhile.

LOLOLOL! So funny! We all know that Hayden Panettiere has been selling her clothes and some designer stuff for her “Save the Whales” charity campaign (go visit panettierecloset.com) .. But did you know that it’s her mom, Leslie Panettiere, who does the choosing of what clothes to sell?? And recently, Hayden had to stop her mother from selling her underwear on the internet! LOL! The Heroes babe shared,

“I lived with my family a long time so you acquire a lot of stuff with nowhere to put it so I tend to throw stuff out. That’s when I decided to put it on the website. Mom pulls out some embarrassing stuff I used to wear. I’m like, ‘Just don’t pull out the underwear!’“

So that’s what was her surfboard award all about in the photo above! =) Hayden Panettiere won Choice TV Actress for Action / Adventure for her hit NBC show, Heroes. The show also won Choice TV Show for Action / Adventure in the recently concluded 2008 Teen Choice Awards that was hosted by Miley Cyrus. Congratulations to Hayden and to Heroes!

Meanwhile, have you seen the NBC teaser featuring HRG (Jack Coleman) talking to Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere)?? HRG was saying,

“This was before you were even born, I was finding these people and locking them away so that they couldn’t hurt anybody. Now a dozen of them have escaped, and they will kill… and they will terrorize… and they will cause… unimaginable destruction to the world…they’re villains, Claire.”

So cool!! One more month and it’s gonna be Heroes season 3 already!! ^_^

Where? In her very own multi-million dollar home that she had spent several months decorating! Hayden Panettiere recently described how wonderful her new Los Angeles home is. She said,

“I bought a house. I spent my summer setting up my new house and buying furniture. It’s a good size. It’s contemporary. It’s a space that doesn’t need a lot of clutter in it, so it’s pretty simple.”

Hayden Panettiere also denied rumors she is moving in with boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia in the said home. The fact is, she won’t even be living alone in her home. The Heroes babe shared,

“My best friend from home, from New York, is actually moving in with me for a year. So it’s not like I’m living in this house, partying by myself.”

And speaking of parties, is Hayden planning to host frequent parties in her property?? The 18-year old actress enthusiastically replied,

“I have this big living room and I have this 14ft by 14ft couch. I fill pretty much the whole room with it and it’s kind of the hangout spot. It’s comfy and people can make a mess in the room.”

You know, errands, pretty boring stuff to most people. But for Hayden Panettiere, boring or not, it warrants a lil dressing up =) These photos were taken last July 29 in Los Angeles as the Heroes babe went on her “normal” errands. Hayden Panettiere wore casual chic outfit while out, sporting a bluish-grey printed halter-style maxi dress. She was spotted walking a lot, hiking up her dress a bit so as not to trip and fall. But we didn’t know what award she won, LOL! Hayden Panettiere is nominated for two surfboards this year: Choice TV Actress: Action Adventure and Choice TV Show: Action Adventure. And as you can see above, she’s holding a surfboard and smiling crazily! =) Guess we have to wait for the TV premiere of the 2008 Teen Choice Awards this Monday night at 8PM ET/PT on FOX. Below are photos of Hayden Panettiere as she arrived at the said awards show at the Gibson Amphitheater last August 3, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. The Heroes babe wore a strapless cinched-waist dark-and-light pink washed dress with a half-up half-down hairdo. Hayden’s definitely a fashionista! ^_^

And boy, did she look annoyed! Who wouldn’t be, right?? But then Hayden Panettiere was able to shrug off her annoyance pretty quickly and was smiling by the time she got the parking ticket off her luxury Porsche Cayenne SUV’s windshield. Apparently, Hayden left her Porsche parked a little too long while her brother Jansen helped her pick up her futon. And of course, the parking police showed up to issue a citation. Oh well, at least Hayden’s car didn’t get towed!

Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, is her co-star in Heroes. And his character, Peter Petrelli, is apparently undergoing some weird changes in the TV show’s upcoming season 3. Milo revealed during the 2008 Comic-Con,

“The one thing I can say is that Peter’s not quite himself this season…In the second season, Peter lost himself, and in the first season Peter was fighting himself, and in the third season, when I say Peter’s not quite himself, he’s not quite himself.”

Okay then, Peter is definitely not quite himself! Does Milo Ventimiglia have to repeat that three times? LOL! Anyway, Hayden’s 13-years older boyfriend also shared that his character might fall. Milo said,

“[Peter is] the strongest of them all, that’s what everybody says—he’s the most powerful of them all, [and] at some point those guys have to fall.”
