That’s what creator Tim Kring and the bigwigs at NBC have promise their audience when the much-anticipated show returns with a two-hour opener on September 22. NBC entertainment chief Ben Silverman told reporters at the recent TV critics press tour,

“You look at shows like The Sopranos, which took a huge amount of time off before it returned stronger than ever. We think Heroes has an audience that loves it and is going to return. But we think we have an opportunity to expand that audience, too.”

Heroes 3 started their promotion with a big bang with promotional appearances by the Heroes cast at the said press tour and the Comic-Con fan convention in San Diego. Geeks who saw the one hour peek preview of the primer said the third season picks up with a “future” Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) returning to modern times to prevent his brother, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), from exposing their secret powers to the world. Meanwhile, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) develops a special serum to bestow superpowers on regular people and then injects himself with it. Sounds all exciting eh?? ^_^ Heroes 3 will premiere on September 22 in the USA and UK. Don’t miss it guys!
