hoodwinked.jpgHoodwinked is the super funny TWISTED animated movie of fairytale stories starring the lil Red Riding Hood. In the movie, she is simply called Red and was voiced by Anne Hathaway in the first movie. Her partner, the Woodsman, was voiced by Jim Belushi. In the sequel, Red will now be voiced by Hayden Panettiere. Woohoo! According to Hoodwinked’s director Cory Edwards,

This time around, Red will not be voiced by Anne Hathaway, but by Hayden Panettiere, the “super cheerleader” from Heroes. This seems very fitting, since Red becomes a bit more of a “caped crusader” in this [second] film. The Woodsman is now being voiced by comedy legend Martin Short.

Can’t wait for this one to come out! Hayden Panettiere’s voice will surely fit Red’s to a T =) The working title for the sequel is Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil. LOL!
